About Nova water aerodrome
Nova Seaplane Base (VR-NOQ) serves Nova on Vakarufalhi in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll, with seaplane services operated by Manta Air. The aerodrome has 2 floating platforms for passenger transfer.
Like all water aerodromes in the Maldives, operations are daytime VFR only, and conditions on the water — wind, sea state, and tide — decide whether a departure or arrival is comfortable, marginal, or off.
