Terms of Service
Effective date: 1 April 2026 · Last updated: 22 July 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
Seavion is a business registered and operated under Centauri Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in the Republic of Maldives (“Seavion”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing or using Seavion (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including pilots, vessel operators, drone flyers, resort staff, aerodrome operators, and administrators.
2. Description of Service
Seavion is an aviation awareness platform providing data and information relevant to water aerodrome operations in the Maldives. The Service is provided on a tiered basis; features available to you depend on your active subscription tier.
Important: Seavion is a supplementary tool only. It is not a substitute for official aeronautical charts, NOTAMs, or other certified aviation publications. Always consult official sources before conducting flight operations.
3. Subscription Tiers and Purchases
The Service is offered under Free, Aviator, and Operator tiers. Access to features and data depends on your active tier. Tier access is enforced server-side; attempting to circumvent access controls is a violation of these terms and may result in account termination.
Aviator subscriptions are available on a monthly ($14.99/mo) or annual ($149.90/yr) basis. New Aviator subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. Operator fleet licences are subject to custom pricing agreed directly with Seavion. Aerodrome charts are available as one-off purchases at $99 per chart.
4. Payments, Refunds, and Cancellation
Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as merchant of record. Their terms apply to all payment transactions.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. For details on refunds for subscriptions and chart purchases, see our Refund Policy.
5. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not share your account with others unless covered by a fleet licence agreement.
6. User-Generated Content
The Service allows you to submit platform issue reports, including text descriptions and photographs (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you:
- Confirm that you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe any third party's rights
- Grant Seavion a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute the content within the Service for the purpose of operating the platform reporting system
- Understand that your email address will be visible to the aerodrome operator when you submit a report
- Agree not to submit false, misleading, or malicious reports
We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these terms, without prior notice.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, extract, or systematically download data from the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Resell or redistribute data obtained through the Service without written permission
- Interfere with the availability or integrity of the Service
- Submit false or fraudulent platform issue reports
- Upload images that are illegal, obscene, or unrelated to platform reporting
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users or operators through reports
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or access controls
8. Platform Reporting Disclaimer
Platform issue reports are submitted by users and are not independently verified by Seavion. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any report. Operators are responsible for verifying and addressing issues at their aerodromes. The reporting system is a communication tool and does not create any obligation on Seavion to inspect, monitor, or remediate reported issues.
9. Data Sources
Aerodrome data displayed in the Service was obtained from official sources. Weather, tidal, aircraft, and other operational data is sourced from licensed third-party data providers. Satellite imagery is provided by a licensed mapping service.
If you believe any aerodrome data is inaccurate or requires amendment, contact us at [email protected] with the aerodrome code and details of the requested change.
10. Data Accuracy and Disclaimer
While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, Seavion makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data provided. All data is provided for reference only.
The Service is not certified for operational use. Users must independently verify all information through official channels before making operational decisions. Seavion accepts no liability for decisions made based on data obtained through the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seavion and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, property damage, personal injury, or any aviation or maritime incidents.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Seavion, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your User Content.
13. Intellectual Property
All content, data, software, and design elements of the Service are owned by or licensed to Seavion. Nothing in these terms grants you any rights to use our trademarks, logos, or proprietary data beyond what is necessary to use the Service as intended. Purchased charts are licensed for your use only and may not be redistributed.
14. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) will survive.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the Republic of Maldives.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or via the Service at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
